This extension will open a Compose window in Gmail when you click any email address on a webpage. It also provides a button that will create a Gmail message when clicked, using the page title as the subject and selected page text and link address as the message. For setting the domain name of your "Google Apps for your domain" account, click Options.

I love this app.
Agree that this should be by default a part of Chrome. Also the options should have the ability to pre populate the to email. I normally send emails to my self with articles or pages that I want to read later. I hacked the extension to add the ability to pre populate the email and now I love it even more.

This makes it very convenient to be able to mail a page directly from the same window. I like it a lot.
Not working!! Does not make Gmail the default email!!
