This extension will open a Compose window in Gmail when you click any email address on a webpage. It also provides a button that will create a Gmail message when clicked, using the page title as the subject and selected page text and link address as the message. For setting the domain name of your "Google Apps for your domain" account, click Options.

Only wish my signature would be added automatically, but it does not. I use PhraseExpress with a short cut.
It works well but takes a while for the Gmail message box to come up. Also, I wish the shared link that gets pasted into the bod of the message were active so that the recipient could just click on it and go directly to the content. Is that possible now and I'm just missing something?
I love this extension i could not get the protocol handlers to work to set my gmail like i should be able to. I found this and all is well now thanks google.
i click the button,and it opened a new window of chrome.is it right?
Why it cannot just add a keyboard shortcut option, such as Ctrl + Alt + M = New mail, it would make us able to hide this button without disabling. I thought Google's aesthetics was about simplicity. wasn't it? Great work on this plug-in anyway :)
Perfect! I send myself pages I read later when I have time. This fits my needs excellently :)
this worked great for a year until about two days ago...what do I do?? (Tried re-launching, disabling and re-enabling) You don't know how much you love something until it's gone :(
Extremely useful although I have one suggestion. Allow users to right click on a page and select the option "Send via Gmail" or something. It would be better than having a button. Also allow the user to select a bunch of text, or a link and right click and send it.
Eigentlich ganz gut ABER man muss leider immer wieder die Absenderadresse einstellen. Leider dann auch im normal gmail...Schade, ansonsten sehr gut.
Its missing the signature in the generate emails.
