This extension will open a Compose window in Gmail when you click any email address on a webpage. It also provides a button that will create a Gmail message when clicked, using the page title as the subject and selected page text and link address as the message. For setting the domain name of your "Google Apps for your domain" account, click Options.

I would like to have a faster way. This way it forces you to log into your gmail account, which I can do myself, manually. Don't bother with this extension.
This doesn't work if the e-mail address on the page is added via AJAX
This is a very efficient way to forward sites. A SUGGESTION PLEASE! Not leaving any space above the insertion of the link requires a 3-step operation to restore my usual font, color & size. Please drop the link a line or two.
Awesome! This is so great I no longer have to open Mail to get the email then copy and paste to gmail. Had a bit of problem with my Mail on my Mac continuing to open but I just restarted Chrome and that did the trick. My signature shows up fine unlike reports in recents reviews. So this must have been fixed in a recent update. I see what people are saying about picking a default email. But I am just happy for this app.

Does not work.
I think this extension works great on my Mac with Lion. I hate using Entourage, so this is a great fix for me. Before I had to copy the email link, then open a new email message in Gmail, blah, blah, blah. I just had to close Chrome and re-open it to get it to work. Another cool feature is the button. If I am on a website that I want to email quickly, which happens frequently, I just click the button, and a pop-up appears with a new email message and a link to the page. PERFECT FOR ME!
it's been broken for awhile with alternative accounts. I've set it up with the domain name of my Google Apps for your domain account but it ignores it and uses gmail anyway. Nov 13 2013: Still broken. I don't even remember when the first review was written. No matter what I do, it doesn't work.
