Privacy Badger sends the Global Privacy Control signal (https://globalprivacycontrol.org/) to opt you out of data sharing and selling, and the Do Not Track signal (https://www.eff.org/issues/do-not-track) to tell companies not to track you. If trackers ignore these signals, Privacy Badger will learn to block them.
Besides automatic tracker blocking, Privacy Badger replaces potentially useful trackers (video players, comments widgets, etc.) with click-to-activate placeholders, and removes outgoing link click tracking on Facebook and Google, with more privacy protections on the way.

It whitelists every single ad company tracker. You have to manually set everything which means those crappy ad companies already got some of your data.
I've been using privacy badger for a while, It does what it's advertised to too, and not much of a hassle to deal with. Easy 5 stars in my book.
Works well enough to not destroy my experience online. I wonder why it keeps giving me message "Not from Chrome Web Store" when I look at the information about it, although it clearly came from the webstore.

It used to work, now it just green lists everything by default. I tried it on both firefox and chrome. I tried a variety of sites that have a variety of trackers and it just lists all the cookies and green lists all of them.
If you care about your own privacy, you just can't live without it! Unobstrusive and essential!
i use this with avast security for very good protection
Works very well but it's not magic; be prepared to manage some cookies yourself.
It's effective against intrusive ads and spying/tracking.
Soucis visible sur le sites de trading genre tradingview ou binance, entres autres. Même "désactivé pour le site" l'extension change le css et les chiffres ne s'affichent plus comme il faut sur les graphique. Pourquoi si je désactive l'extension pour un site ça bug alors que si je la désactive totalement ça fonctionne ?
