Privacy Badger sends the Global Privacy Control signal (https://globalprivacycontrol.org/) to opt you out of data sharing and selling, and the Do Not Track signal (https://www.eff.org/issues/do-not-track) to tell companies not to track you. If trackers ignore these signals, Privacy Badger will learn to block them.
Besides automatic tracker blocking, Privacy Badger replaces potentially useful trackers (video players, comments widgets, etc.) with click-to-activate placeholders, and removes outgoing link click tracking on Facebook and Google, with more privacy protections on the way.

Awesome. Thank you Privacy Badger!
Don't know if I'm actually safer using Privacy Badger, yet its still nice to know there may be some security in having it as an extension while surfing the Net. These days, who knows what's safe and/or secure with our private data. I'm giving PB five stars because if it is legit, then I'm grateful for those who offer their time for our benefit.
Awesome. Thank you Privacy Badger!

WORKS WELL
I dismissed the badger for a month because a few sites wouldn't talk to me unless I disabled my "ad blocker". Although Badger isn't an ad blocker, it does do that a little bit (google it). Sometimes. I called the Badger back in service today since I've been plagued by (it seems like) every popup and irritant known to man. Immediately, the Badger is running around like a sheep dog on steroids and my life is smooth again.
OUTSTANDING! It is is extremely useful! Thank you!
