This extension prevents the sites you specify from appearing in Google search results.
You can add rules on search result pages, or on sites to be blocked by clicking the toolbar icon. Rules can be specified either by match patterns (e.g. *://*.example.com/*) or by regular expressions (e.g. /example\.(net|org)/).
You can use this extension in several search engines other than Google. The list of supported search engines is available at:
https://github.com/iorate/ublacklist#supported-search-engines
You can synchronize rulesets across devices via cloud storage. At the moment, Google Drive and Dropbox are supported.
You can also subscribe to public rulesets. Some subscriptions are listed on the website:

Before you think that it doesn't work, make sure that "Allow access to search page results" is enabled, for obvious reasons.

Downloaded this for a single website, added the domain, extension failed to block the domain from search results, promptly uninstalled. Thanks uBlacklist!
このアプリはGoogleで検索する時に自分が不快に感じたサイトをほぼブロックしてくれますが、スポンサーとかいうのだけはブロックしてくれません あれも駆除できるようになれば★５です
Update#2: Keeps moving, even after figuring out how to move it using CSS in a userstyle. On top of that, it doesn't even work right. I block a site because it's for a company on the other side of the country. Month later, doing a similar search, end up at the same site, go to block it and see it's already blocked. So why is this in my search results? Why can I even open the site if it's blocked? You had one job and couldn't even do that. Update: Seems everyday the 'Block this site' moves to a different spot making my results look jank. Tired of this extension, time to find a better one. This barely works on search results anymore. The 'Block this site' is rarely there. I don't know if they are whitelisting a bunch of sites or if the extension has become faulty, but will be looking for something else now.
