this extension far better than all block site extensions
Stellar and I hope it's never messed up. I absolutely despise the paywall that NYTimes has placed and gives 0 free articles, not even 1 a day or a handful a month. They are revolting. Therefore I banned them entirely from my online experience (filtering them out entirely from my DNS) unfortunately I was still getting results linked to them in web searches. Now with this I am finally free from that garbage as well! Thank you iorate dev/s!!! :)
Does exactly what it says
You just click the extention button in the uppoer right corner of the search bar and it ask if you want to block a site. I searched for the word "protestor" and blocked every supposed news site out there and now I have peace when I search for a topic! OMG this is exactly how you stop AI Spam, and remove sites from the search, that promote agendas!
For a few weeks, using this extension was heaven. I managed to find a list online that blocked results from almost every generative AI website, and suddenly my searches were no longer flooded with awful results that actively worsened the experience. However, as of today, the extension no longer works. I would hugely, hugely love a fix for this, as this extension was about the only thing making Chrome tolerable.
Bravo! The developer(s) of this extension really deserves an award! Thank you for making our lives easier.
