No sirve para nada en W10 es un asco y para lo que están buscando la solución, solo funciona en W7 usen una maquina virtual para poder hacerlo, suerte.
I know this extension did not work for many, but for me and others that I know of with the Acer Spin 311 CP311-3H-K3WL, this program worked like a charm to get my Chromebook to the latest Chrome Version. Would 100% recommend.
Funktioniert wie beschrieben, keine Probleme zu vermelden. Außerdem lassen sich damit auch andere Images schreiben, nachdem man deren Dateiendung von .img zu .bin geändert hat. So konnte ich das Lakka Image für meinen Raspberry Pi auf SD-Karte erstellen ✌🏻
Crashes chrome afer downloading and verifying the new OS image. In the past, have enjoyed the freedom from windows admin, but this is pathetic. No way to fix the OS (borked), no way to download the OS (can't link to a fresh copy and burn it), no way to generate a new image for the OS (chrome crashes) that's the last Chromebook device I'll buy.

Fiddly to get working properly, but here are the steps Download recovery utility in Chrome Restart Chrome while running as Administrator Insert USB you wish to use Use disk management and delete the current partitions on the usb drive (otherwise utility sticks at 0%) Select device you want to recover Select USB dive Wait till it's done Use the recovery usb on chromebox / chromebook
Werkt niet, na stap 3 van 3 crash van de browser, en geen imagebestand op je stick !! graag actie !!!
La herramienta se cierra al intentar crear o borrar la USB luego de solicitar permisos como administrador en Windows 10 y windows 11, se prueba ejecuntando antes Google Chrome como administrador y siempre se cierra. NO FUNCIONA Se esperaría más tomando en cuenta que muchas empresas están usando Chrome OS
Doesn't work anymore, gets to the writing stage and chrashes or hangs at 0%
it crashed the chrome browser after asking permission to write to USB stick, and nothing was written to the usb stick.
