Chrome se ferme sur la dernière étape et la clef n'est pas formaté. J'ai essayé plusieurs fois, sur plusieurs PC, avec plusieurs Clefs (en Exfat, NTFS, Fat32)... Rien n'y fait. J'ai 4 Chromebook neufs qui ne fonctionnent qu'en session invité !! Acer dit que c'est Google et qu'il faut utiliser cet outil, Google retourne sur le constructeur. Je suis vraiment dégouté. J'espérais gagner du temps en administration de postes et c'est bien le contraire. En tant que conseiller numérique et Formateur TIC, je dois dire que je ne conseillerais plus jamais ChromeBook.

i had no problems!!!!!! Followed the on screen prompts, Installed the exe file and then down loaded the ISO and was on my way. Originally i wiped the Chromebook and installed Kali onto it, was good too go but after a couple weeks went by, i decided to open it up and then would not load.... so yes i need to re-do the down load and this time down load the needed extension to run next to windows...either way the download from this website worked well. .

I was attempting to run on my home laptop - it couldn't run past the 3 step creatng recovery issue. I downloaded the google chrome browser and run the extension off that and worked like a treat.

I must have cleared my USB, redownloaded and tested this utility 10 times for my Chromebox 3. It simply does not work. Here's the scenario, we set up a Chromebox as a digital signage player in kiosk mode. No human ever touches it 24/7. One day, it completely clears its memory out of no where and wants us to recover it. Now this seems to be the only option Google has created to help someone recover a Chrome device. THIS extension, that does not work. Out of all the thousands of chrome devices out there? They cannot put one ounce of effort into letting someone recover their device from their own faulty issues? Big powerful Google, zero care or service to those that support them. I guess we'll just have to follow their plan and throw away yet another device to send them more money for a new one. Thanks.

Dit programma werkt voor geen meter. Na het installeren van het herstelprogramma op je usb stick of sd card staat er gewoon niks op en is je externe schijf onzichtbaar geworden. Nu meerdere malen met meerdere schijven geprobeerd op meerdere devices met steeds hetzelfde resultaat. Helaas maar je wordt blij gemaakt met niks
