At DuckDuckGo, we believe the best way to protect your personal information from hackers, scammers, and privacy-invasive companies is to stop it from being collected at all. That's why millions of people choose DuckDuckGo over other browser extensions to protect their searching and browsing. Our built-in search engine is like Google but never tracks your searches. And our browsing protections, such as ad tracker blocking and cookie blocking, help stop other companies from collecting your data. Oh, and our browser extension is free — we make money from privacy-respecting search ads, not by exploiting your data. Take back control of your personal information with the browser extension designed for data protection.
FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS
Protect Your Searches by Default: Install the extension and we’ll set your default search engine and homepage to DuckDuckGo Search, so you can easily search online without being tracked.
Shield Your Browsing History: Our 3rd-Party Tracker Loading Protection blocks most trackers before they load, greatly exceeding what the browser offers by default.
Secure Your Email (Optional): Use Email Protection to block most email trackers and hide your existing email address with @duck.com addresses.
Automatically Enforce Encryption: Shield your data from network and Wi-Fi snoopers by forcing many sites to use an HTTPS connection.

DuckDuckGo is awsome. The more you learn about google the more you will be wanting to use duckduckgo.
en slimjet bloquea el motor de busqueda y no permite cambiarlo. en el browser vivaldi si permite usar cualquier search engine. fuera de eso es maravilloso y te dice cuantas cookies invasivas bloqueo, la mayoria de google y facebook xD
ok now this is epic
I really wish you guys had a platform/OS of your own to start a phone company. We want to be liberated from the pangs of Google. Cheers DuckDuckGo. Great job.
First time I've used DuckDuckGo as an extension was on the 5th of December, but it was not the first time I've used DuckDuckGo entirely. I absolutely love this search browser as it really does not censor your searches (try searching Google vs DuckDuckGo on google, and then on DuckDuckGo). Overall, if you feel as if Google is spying on you and you want to stop them from selling your info to advertisers, please do switch to DuckDuckGo.
Lo único que no me gusta es que te obligue a usar duckduck go de motor de busqueda
well well well
Um serviço incrível e extremamente necessário na época em que estamos vivendo... melhor nos protegermos enquanto ainda há tempo.
The problem is that I don't want to make DuckDuckGo the default search engine. I would like to be able to toggle between the two. We know Google are spying on us, we know they are lying to us, we know they are manipulating us, we know they have an agenda, but the simple fact is that we have been sucked into it already, and for some of us we need to use both for work purposes. I like to wear my tinfoil hat, but only when I feel like it. This extension forces us to choose. DuckDuckGo as the default engine, otherwise it must be disabled to use the Google Engine. That's no good. I might feel like changing my hat 6 times in as many minutes, but this isn't an option. Awareness is good, choice is good.. removal of choice is bad, and that duck swings both ways.. quack quack. It seems that DuckDuckGo also has an agenda here, which is fine, I'm all for privacy, but forcing people to take sides is unlikely to win over the hearts and minds of enough people to make it a viable long term solution. Let people choose, and gradually more and more will switch over, or at least enough will switch between the two to level the playing field a bit and make the Google Giant rethink it's strategy for taking over the world. Unfortunately, right now, I rely on Google, so unless I can toggle with ease, they have already won half the battle. (I just use a bookmark to go to DuckDuckGo when I need to, but that's triple the clicks, so only used when frustration sets in due to the Google Skewed SERPS).
很棒!
