Ibotta: Price compare, cashback, item alerts

I've had Ibotta for years and use it frequently from my phone via the Ibotta app. However, this browser extension for Chrome is terrible. It makes you constantly log in, constantly authenticate via email or text, only for it to log out again and start all over. My setting aren't the issue. My other extensions function fine and function as designed. I find myself using the other browser extensions for cash back instead of Ibotta because of how badly the Chrome browser extension functions. Just now I was trying to shop on Kroger and can't keep Ibotta logged in so I'll have to use another cash back browser extension instead. This has been an ongoing issue with Ibotta since they first launched the browser extension. I hope they fix the bugs and get it functioning properly. I'll update my review if they fix these issues to make it a fully functional browser extension.

I've used Ibotta since Aug 2016 as an app and earned $2,231.31 so far, with $407.15 of that being exclusively since installing the Chrome browser ext. last Oct and only using on Walmart Grocery Pickup! I absolutely LOVE the way WM pages will show you the rebates, let you add them from there, and how I don't ever have to snap a receipt since I get the rebates through my email receipts being automatically registered!

The Chrome extension is awesome. I appreciate that it auto generates when I visit partnering sites. I would love to see a search box for partners by topic on the home page. It can be a challenge and time consuming when you want to know which of the partners specializes in "travel", "apparel", or "???" This option would take it to a 5 star rating!

Figuring out what my balance is, what qualifies or doesn't, or even just trying to scroll in my browswer and not have it randomly pop out and cover what I'm trying to look at when the app doesn't even work on the page has made me truly loathe this app and the program and I've been involved with it for a couple years now. It's a shame they took a simple concept and overcomplicated it to the point I don't even want to try to use it anymore.

I really like the extension. I don't have to go to the app and order through it. I am always getting what offers are available when I order online. Once you are signed up you always will get the offers that are available through that retailer.
