The Microsoft Defender Browser Protection extension helps protect you against online threats, such as links in phishing emails and websites designed to trick you into downloading and installing malicious software that can harm your computer.
If you click a malicious link in an email or navigate to a site designed to trick you into disclosing financial, personal or other sensitive information, or a website that hosts malware, Microsoft Defender Browser Protection will check it against a constantly updated list of malicious URLs known to Microsoft.
If the malicious link matches one on the list, Microsoft Defender Browser Protection will show a red warning screen letting you know that the web page you are about to visit is known to be harmful, giving you a clear path back to safety with one click.

It's funny how this is a Microsoft Product but isn't available in the official Microsoft Edge extensions page. I'm glad that it is somehow available here.

I have a malicious pop on my windows 11 desktop computer and can't get it off. Windows is no help at all. What is up with windows support???

Permitame recordarle a Sigma Rizz (su comentario) que esta extension enlaza Chrome con Windows Defender de Windows. Chrome no es un operativo, es un navegador. A ver si entiendes el concepto de esta extension.

If I could chose 0 star I would WHY would we add this when we already have windows protection service for free and if we don't have it use a dam VPN
This one works very well for me in the Vivaldi browser and has replaced what I used before. I am now relying on Windows Defender and this extension to keep me clean on the web.
