The Microsoft Defender Browser Protection extension helps protect you against online threats, such as links in phishing emails and websites designed to trick you into downloading and installing malicious software that can harm your computer.
If you click a malicious link in an email or navigate to a site designed to trick you into disclosing financial, personal or other sensitive information, or a website that hosts malware, Microsoft Defender Browser Protection will check it against a constantly updated list of malicious URLs known to Microsoft.
If the malicious link matches one on the list, Microsoft Defender Browser Protection will show a red warning screen letting you know that the web page you are about to visit is known to be harmful, giving you a clear path back to safety with one click.

Diese Erweiterung, ist ganz OK, es geht hier nur um geblockte Domains, diese Erweiterung enthält eine Sperrliste welche Phishing Domains und Malware verteilende Domains enthält. Wichtig, ist die Intelligente Kombination, mit anderen Erweiterungen dieser art (von anderen Malware Hersteller, einfach z.b Malware Guard eingeben, denn im Gegensatz zu, antivirensoftware ergänzen, diese Erweiterungen sich! Das hier ist keine Antivirenlösung! Es erkennt keine Malware verseuchten Dateien oder Erweiterungen an sich sondern block nur die Domains! Auch sind diese art der Erweiterungen meist Kostenlos z.b Online Security eingeben!)
While Microsoft has only detected and blocked one link throughout my entire installation it is good to know that the company has my back with Real Time protection for free! I'd recommend for use alongside another security solution like Google's Enhanced Safe browsing

It's currently false flagging mass amounts of genuine websites as dangerous. I've had reddit, intel and Australian Government Websites all false flagged as dangerous. Extension is currently completely useless till they fix it.

It's gone mad with power. Blocked substrate.microsoft.com and login.okta.com...
This extension just caused a major outage for the company I administrate, by falsely deciding to block a number of sites we use. If you're an organisation using Chrome, my suggestion is to just enforce Google SafeBrowsing by policy and then deploy a DNS-based tool like Cloudflare Gateway or Cisco Umbrella instead of using this extension. It'll save you from Microsoft taking your business offline.
chromeをメインで使っているなら、要は入れておけばいいのですよ。 Microsoft Defenderと連携して動くこの拡張機能を追加で入れておくと安心できると思います。 特に設定する必要もないし、拡張機能の表示言語が何であれ関係ないですよ。
