Not only does it not work in the text fields in the application I use, it prevents the dragon box from automatically appearing, as it did before the extension was installed. First time I've used one of these and it actually makes things worse!! get this sorted Google/Nuance its plain aweful

Je l'utilise depuis plusieurs années et j'avoue que je suis agacé par son mauvais fonctionnement. Je viens de racheter la dernière version, en me disant que cela corrigera les bogues de l'ancienne, mais on est encore loin du résultat : au début, il fonctionne sur la plupart des logiciels, mais très vite ça ne va plus très bien et je suis obligé d'utiliser uniquement le bloc-notes. Chose très agaçante aussi : il suggère énormément de possibilités, avec 90 % de fautes d'orthographe et… impossibilité de les modifier ; on doit alors créer soi-même son propre vocabulaire, par une autre fonction. Un point moyennement positif néanmoins : l'aide technique proposée, mais ça dépend de la personne sur qui vous tombez. Je n'ai pas l'impression qu'ils vont beaucoup changer et j'attends donc avec impatience un concurrent qui soit à la hauteur.

Unfortunately I have to agree with everyone. I bought the 13 Premium version. I mostly used it Word and a little Gmail. Today I thought, I'll try it on Chrome - uh, not working. Then I went to help forums, and these reviews - oh, guess what - Dragon plain old doesn't work with Chrome. Ridiculous.

I have been a Dragon Naturally Speaking consumer since the days when the company was called "ScanSoft". Foolishly it seems, I continue to upgrade to the latest and greatest versions within the hope that the product will someday live up to its touted expectations. I have most recently upgraded to V.14 and at first blush, the improvements continue to be consistently missing. It seems for me, that the best version was V.11, but that was during the time that my preferred browser was Internet Explorer. At some point it no longer worked with IE; the browser would no longer work with DNS. When the company came out with V.13 and claimed to work with Google, I changed my default browser and am no better off for having done so. One of the most frustrating aspects of the most recent versions of DNS is that I constantly and consistently get "him him him him him" throughout any dictation. This came to a most recently embarrassing case when having updated (and subsequently sent out) my resume, only to find that the program had inserted (unbeknownst to me) a series of "him him him him". I have yet to find the reason or cure for this phenomenon. However, it has gotten to the point where the program has become virtually useless for me and/or its use for any of my most common applications, including MS Word.

The old version of Dragon work better in chrome based applications – it seems this extension cannot support web-based work. Very frustrating and makes me want to switch back to the older – more reliable version.

I agree wholeheartedly with the opinions expressed already, this extension is dismal at best, failure to perform as advertised is the biggest objectionIt is certainly unfortunate that there is nothing less than one star
