High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

Disappointing. It inverts many images, such as the thumbnails on the page where this extension was announced https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/Xrco2HsXS-8/discussion. Plenty other night-mode extensions are smart enough not to invert images, such as this one (which is a fraction of the size) https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/night-mode-eye-guard/pcoddialcapoppmmfdcmbfoicoiggjpk
Leaves much to be desired. I use other appsa to change my background color. This changes that background color and tints images that I'd rather keep as is.It doesn't quite suit my purposes.

Мне нравится. Но по-крайней мере один раз мне встретился глюк, вызванный этим расширением. На странице подарков Одноклассников http://ok.ru/gifts При включенном расширении лента подарков почему то получалась почти пустая. Было видно только одну страницу с подарками.
Finally a colour inverter/changer, that has an option I like (inverted grayscale) without destroying the functionality of many websites by letting buttons disappear. May I suggest, that "green on black" and "red on black" may be added? Best would be "any-colour-you-like-on-black" :)

Quando ativa todos os sites ficam com as cores invertidas. É preciso uma opção em que somente a página ativa tenha as cores mudadas.
