To provide website visitors the ability to prevent their data from being collected and used by Google Analytics, we have developed the Google Analytics opt out Browser extension for the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, dc.js).
If you want to opt out, download and install the extension for your web browser. In order to function, the opt out extension must be able to load and execute properly on your browser. Updates to your browser or operating system may affect the functionality of the opt out extension. More information about managing your extensions for Chrome can be found at https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/187443?hl=en_GB.

Doesn't work, at all. Google Still collecting unauthorized information. Their IBA opt out Link is Missing. Just like Amazon's opt out that leads to a Broken Page (404 Error) 911 pages of Obfuscation in Googles privacy policy.

I am confused by the message at: <chrome://extensions/ >" "Safety Check" "Review 2 extensions that may be unsafe" "Chrome recommends that you remove them" "IBA Opt-out (by Google)" "This extension hasn't published privacy practices, such as how it collects and uses data" I was able to Find, Read, and Understand the Privacy Policy about the "Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on (by Google)" at: "policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-US." What is the mis-information (or dis-information), Google? Should we be deleting it?
