With this extension you can easily search for text you have selected. When some text is selected you can left click the selected text to get a popup where you can choose a search engine to search with.
In the options page you can customize the look of the menu, which mouse button that should activate the menu, which search engines to show, and a lot of other things.

When you install this extension you will get a warning that this extension can:
"Access your data on all websites."
This is needed because the code for the popup-menu needs to be added to every website for it to work.

I can't live without this extension..
I'm having problem to use the extension in chrome 80 and above, all the setting s are gone and even if search engines appear in the menu, search is not working.
It keeps losing my settings!! Really annoying because it takes me +-10min to set it up will all my search links I created!! Please fix this.
THE BEST search plugin out there!! Just hilite a pc of text, rt click and you can search any user preset search engine. the only kicker here (and remember this - very important) is that the full power of the app is not available until you ADD A SEPARATOR in the config screen. Once you do this it's a breeze to search Amazon, Google, Netflix - anything site that has its own search can be included here. This is a very well thought-out pc of software. Hilite your search text, dbl click and a popup containing all your preset search engines appears next to your cursor. Some very smart engineers figured out that users may want to search multiple search engines with the same seach term so they made the popup persistent. It hangs there waiting for you to click multiple times. for me, this means I can search for a product on Amazon, Ebay and Craigslist. Very cool! What I'd like to see in a future of this extnsn is the ability to load multiple SE's into one button so that I don't have to click multiple times, but that's nitpicky. This search extension is head and shoulders above anything else out there.
I tried three similar extensions and this is definitely the best one! Thank you!!!

This is a great program once you've figured it out. The problem is the developer didn't add any tutorial or explanation on how to use this. Just spent the last 10 minutes trying to figure out how to add a new search engine. What you need to do is search something with the search engine you want to use, copy the url (excluding the search term), and add %s at the end.
