I found a serious issue with the Tab Position Manager extension. Problem: After enabling this extension, Chrome Tab Groups start syncing incorrectly across devices. Tab groups may appear in the wrong order, duplicate, disappear, or become inconsistent between different Chrome installations.

This is the only extension I've found that both not only offers the choice of what to do with opening tabs but closing tabs too, and also actually works every time. My only gripe is that the tab repositioning is delayed just slightly enough that the movement is noticeable. Maybe this is just a chromium limitation. Can't ding the star rating since no other extension can get this to work at all.
Does not seem to work at all with the recent Chrome versions
在同类里出类拔萃，但是不如edge扩展的Open New Tab After Current Tab，不仅从邻近打开，它还可以让你的顺序也保持正常（从上到下从左到右，而不是右到左下到上）

Very effective and useful extension. It really does what it promises. Now I will finally stop getting mad in manually re-arranging tabs after they are opened.
目前使用0.3.4版本，经常会遇见开关机后恢复标签页时，多个群组合并为第一个群组，其他群组的标签页会合并到第一个群组里面，而且在创建新标签页时选择群组内最右侧的标签页会创建到群组外而不是选中标签页所在的群组（配置的是新标签页固定为当前标签页的右侧），这两个bug很影响使用，尤其是第一个bug
非常好的插件，完美满足我的需求
