Full disclosure - I work for Salesforce. I used to work for other SaaS companies and never had anything this easy to use and powerful. Beyond just logging activity, I frequently use the Availability function which automatically books meetings when customer's select a time. It was easy to become a power user in no time at all.
Overall, this is a major upgrade from Salesforce Inbox, however, there is a bit of extra noise in the tool which I want the ability to remove if need-be. I'd also like to use this on Safari or Firefox and today it only works with Chrome.

The new extension is so much more convenient and solid - even when you normally log in to many different orgs, it remembers the right org and reconnects to it seamlessly. Love it.
IT's really nice to have the extension built into email!
Salesforce uses Gmail which makes this invaluable for Logging against People, Optys, etc.
Disappointed as it interferes with InBox. Have to disable it for the InBox functionality to work properly.
I can't believe it still doesn't work with the new Gmail interface, it still spawns errors that prevent you from sending emails if it is installed.
