Does not work well when using a secondary account as your voice. It often seems to get confused as to the account it should be using and so I fail to receive messages when I have chrome open.
it works i just feel like there is no privacy. what i want to know is if i can call and text but th reciever cant get my email address when i call. like if i want to make a private call but i dint want to give my real name will they find my name through the number
Only drawback is that you have to click it again every time you want to reload the new messages. It would be nice if you could launch a window, and new chat's and calls would show up in real time
I Sell Voice and data for a living, and this offers all the features and benefits of Hosted VoIP with none of the cost. If you are a one man office this is the bomb! In addition I have sister in Canada, to call on cell phone use to be $.50 per minute now free with the Google voice app!
Horrible experiences with an "S" to get it work properly and, did everything you at Google said to do and followed ALL instructions that the app stated,,,, Very disappointed that the only thing i really got from Google was threts to verify myself over and over.....
Awesome
Doesn't work because no USB headset will work with this $249 Samsung Chromebook computer.
Absolutely indispensable. Great way to text and read texts on the desktop. Makes using the already invaluable Google Voice all the more so. One suggestion: It'd be nice to be able to tab from the address function to the text window to the send button. That's a really small bone to pick with something that otherwise is fantastic.
BUG: It is notifying me of a new message, nut no new messages. I've been using it for a couple years and love it.
This used to work fine for me but now on OSX 10.8.2 it no longer will no longer display anything.
