Works well and love having the convenient small icon on my browser
There's a bug in this extension: when you click on a number on a page, the extension makes a failed request for toolbar_icons.gif from whatever server hosts the page. I can't find a way to tell the developer, Google, this--so I'm putting it in a review. Maybe it'll be fixed. Probably not.

Highly recommended for anyone who consistently uses google voice for texting.
Still good, but needs a refresh. If they are doing away with the consumer version of hangouts, this is no longer sufficient.
Especially like the extension when working at my desk with bluetooth. Don't even need to pick up my phone to make all my business calls.
I use the Google Voice extension every day more then I use my cell phone
The "ding" sound is acting up... every time it sounds like it hasn't fully loaded, or like it lags. SUPER annoying. Please fix.
I really love this extension and wish I could continue to use it, but I have an issue with what I read in the details section: This extension can access: Your data on all websites This item can read every page that you visit -- your bank, your web email, your Facebook page, and so on. Often, this kind of item needs to see all pages so that it can perform a limited task such as looking for RSS feeds that you might want to subscribe to. Caution: Besides seeing all your pages, this item could use your credentials (cookies) to request or modify your data from websites. *At least the Web Store is honest about what it can and cannot do but it confuses us with "perform limited task". Really this extension can do much more such as "read every page you visit". I'm removing every extension I wasn't aware had this ability.
Absolutely essential for me.
