Worked great and all of a sudden it has issues with sound and wants to connect with Google Hangouts to make calls. Great for voicemail but not for calling. I gave up my cell to use this and now I regret that decision. Google you let me down!
This is a chrome extension for a google product and it has not been updated in four years. I can only call from my linked #, not from "hangouts". It does not receive text or vm updates.

It would sometimes give out a notification sound and when I send a text message using it, it would send it twice.
Requires major updating - it is currently not effective as an extension, which is a shame considering it IS a Google (R) product
This used to be a great option for text messaging with a full-sized keyboard but lately it just doesn't work. I've reinstalled and it's just waiting for a phone number, however I'm not trying to place a call. I click the Inbox button and nothing happens. The iOS app is also buggy and crashes all the time so at least they're consistent :)
Voicemails don't play from extension. Unread number is never correct - usually shows unread messages even after all have been read/deleted/archived
