Is this really the official Google Voice Chrome extension? It's insufferably ugly, to the point of not being functionally useful.
Love that App. Easy to use.
Tried to reply to an ongoing group text and hit send....after auto-populating the "number to text" field, it stated destination not supported. Pretty weak, imo, to not have basic reply functionalilty.
I'm on Chrome on my Mac with Sierra and I generally don't have much problems. The one thing I wish they would add is that I'd like the clickable numbers to open a pop up that allows for text and not just calling.
The Extension no longer plays voicemail's after this latest update that separated gv and hangouts, and also separated messages from voice mails withing voice.goole.com Could also be improved by Needs being able to receive picture text messages. I have to go to either hangouts, or voice.google.com to see them. On the chrome ext. it only shows "MMS recieved."
Works but the interface is really crude compared to Hangouts. If SMS is being taken out of Hangouts and Google wants us to use Google Voice, they need to bring the interface into the 21st Century. This is the ChromeOS Version but I assume its the same issue on Windows and MacOS, etc.
Was great and very useful but not it seems to be almost completely useless since almost all good features have been removed. Google, Will this extension be updated and usability restored or should irt be considered trash since it only forwards you to the website...i can make a shortcut myself.? and if so, do you have any idea when?
This app always worked great for me on all my systems: Linux, Mac, & Windows, recently however the app stopped working 100%. I honestly believe that it is because of some of the changes being made by the folks at Google (Interface changes, add-ons, etc., etc.)
This extension is old and out of date. It works, but not well. Please update this extension
It was great for a couple of years. 2017 (since the "upgrade" to what is effectively Hangouts) is showing a seemingly random number of notifications in addition to the real ones, first 11 (when there are 0) then 22, now 18, and no amount of data clearing or reinstalling seems to give me an accurate count. The popup and the shortcut work, so I can't give it one star. I miss a real PC UI. I'm not liking using phone apps on a 27" screen. I feel like I'm being treated like a toddler or a hairier primate.
