It appears that this extension is routing calls incorrectly when using the "Call" feature. This needs to be reported because it is officially broken.
This extension hasn't been updated in years. It no longer matches the features of the recently-updated Google Voice page, which renders it mostly useless.
It keeps saying I have 5 unread messages, all my messages are read it just shows me the last 5 I got, when I hit archive it just shows me the next one, there's now "archive all" option or "mark all as read" so I can't get it to stop showing me 5 unread messages, if this was fixed I would love it.
This is a pretty weak offering for Google Voice integration with Google Chrome. There are numerous minor annoyances like not displaying the tab you left off viewing or URLs not being hyperlinked in text messages, but even the core functionality feels laggy and always makes you wonder whether or not a message went through. There is also zero integration with Google Hangouts. Overall 2/5: you can send and receive SMS.
Greatest business tool ever!
We use this exclusively for long distance and it saves us significant money.
Needs to be updated to new modern google voice. But does show new communication notifications on Chrome.
This has never worked for me. You can click a number in any web page and it will always FAIL to connect. You can click the icon on the URL bar and it will always FAIL to connect. You would think that this would be supported on Chrome.
Doesnt work for phone calls. Text is no prob. but for some reason only Hangouts works to make calls.
It is very nice to see you have a text message without having to open the google voice page. I've been a big fan of this extension for quite a while now. My only problem is the bell went silent on it. I would like the bell back, and louder.
