This is the most confusing product on the market and worse than anything I have run into in 20 years. I cannot use anything on my desk top computer until I go through this Norton mess. How do I get rid of it without it eliminating all of my data?
I love the Norton extensions, but I can absolutely not keep opening up 3 tabs just to use google Chrome as my search engine!! Yahoo search engine is useless and full of more spam and unsafe links than google. I'd be happy with Edge or DDG...... I will definitely not repurchase. *****Yes, I have tried to alter my home search engine and it only works when you disable Norton.
The search engine does not provide coverage that is anywhere near that provided by google, I have to go to google after Norton safe search to get decent coverage of the subjects I search! Further Norton says it will no longer provide guidance as to the safety of a site unless you use their search engine. I pay a substantial annual fee for Norton and they risk losing customers when they cut service to my extreme disappointment. I plan to cancel my Norton account when it comes up for renewal if Norton does not change its attitude,
the most helpful option worth every dollar
This extension forces you to use Yahoo! search engine and offers no way to specify what search engine you're actually using (seemingly cannot be changed). I prefer the Google search engine over Yahoo!, that decision was made long ago and not about to be changed for this Norton Safe Search extension. Disabling and removing this extension so I can return to using Google

Norton customer for over 5 years. IDK what TH happened but new PC & the product goes berserk. Customer service is not helpful. haven't been able to login to my account for over a month. I will NOT be renewing this subscription.
Why does an extension that is *for* the Chrome browser force searches through Yahoo? Super annoying.
