Privacy Badger sends the Global Privacy Control signal (https://globalprivacycontrol.org/) to opt you out of data sharing and selling, and the Do Not Track signal (https://www.eff.org/issues/do-not-track) to tell companies not to track you. If trackers ignore these signals, Privacy Badger will learn to block them.
Besides automatic tracker blocking, Privacy Badger replaces potentially useful trackers (video players, comments widgets, etc.) with click-to-activate placeholders, and removes outgoing link click tracking on Facebook and Google, with more privacy protections on the way.

works like it says
I find this to be a great tool, with no perceived slowdown. It's recommended by the EFF and the app does what it says on the tin. Try it, I don't think you will be sorry if you do.
I can definitely see the positive in this app. No doubt about that. But, I've had so many experiences with websites that just straight up don't work and I forget that I have this app and I complain to the website. Much more work needs to be done here if it's going to be a useful internet tool.

Even though I add some certain domains to the white list, Privacy Badger still keeps blocking the images from those domains. Stupid app.
Sure does the job, but no more web browsing then...

Been working flawlessly for 6 months. Only have 2 sites whitelisted (youtube being one of them unfortunately)
