I followed all, instruction and tried to use the utility 4 separate times with 2 different USB sticks and it has failed each and every time. Google pretends the be a high level organization with critical thinking people, but this program could be coded by a pair of monkeys.

unfortunately couldn't fix my older samsung chromebook because I think the tpm chip doesn't work so the whole thing doesn't work, so when I tried removing the recovery media that I downloaded chrome just crashes everytime so now i'm stuck with a usb memory that has half the memory since I couldn't format the entire thing for some reason.

I used to love this utility. We have over 152,000 CBs. When they come in severely outdated or having an OS issue, plugging in a USB and letting it do it's thing has always been great. Then late October comes around and suddenly the tool goes through the entire download process and when it says it will write to a flash drive, EVERYTHING closes on my devices. I've tried multiple devices. So frustrating when you have sooo many devices throughout an organization. I did find that if I run the extension from a CB itself that I can successfully make a recovery USB; however I should not have to use a CB as the only way to do this or if that's the case then add that as a requirement and state that it does not work on Windows based devices.

Siempre tiene fallos de descarga, y cuando al fin se pudo descargar la imagen y se va a escribir en el USB la aplicacion se cierra. Una porqueria totalmente, lastima solo queda intentar hasta que agarre porque es la unica opcion que nos queda

GALERA, para quem está com dificuldades, clica na engrenagem la em cima, coloca formatar o disco de recuperação, apos formatar, vocês conseguem fazer o download, ferramenta horrivel, demorei 3 dias para descobrir isso, mas após isso é simples
