I use the ibotta app on my phone all the time, but I prefer to do shopping on my laptop -- the ibotta brower extension seemed to be the solution. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. Whenever I go to a shopping site, it says "Ibotta doesn't work on this site."

I LOVE IBOTTA but this extension is horrible and just doesn't work and customer service is definitely trying their best but they aren't trying to do right by it. When I use Ibotta as a portal I am forgoing use of another portal and choosing to use Ibotta- so when it doesn't work and contact customer service to try to at least provide proof of purchase and proof of extension, etc. and still don't get my cash back it kind of makes you throw you hands up to the whole thing. I ended up uninstalling because of it.

they send a verification code to my email...after about 5 minutes, then it tells me the code is not correct. I don't have time to waste going around and around with this. I've had a code sent to me 3 times and none of them are correct. the phone app isn't allowing me to link my paypal account and it won't allow me to get an egift card. There's no way for me redeem my cash. i'll stick to Rakuten.

Why isn't working? I have been an Ibotta user for years!! I was so excited to find the Chrome extension. I click Add to Chrome and accept the popup by Chrome. A new tab opens and it ask me to login and I do. Then it is just a page telling about how Ibotta works but nothing to activate from the website? I went on a site that I know Ibotta does and it did not activate the deal. I really wanna use this extension!

I love that I can redeem Ibotta offers now through a browser on my computer in addition to using the app. I do most of my online shopping on my computer because I like having the bigger screen to research products, etc. So excited to see this!

It's nice to have cash back options requiring minimal effort for online grocery ordering. Considering I avoid grocery stores due to the global pandemic (don't know if you've heard about it), the Ibotta browser extension gives me confidence that I'm not missing out on deals.
