If I could put 0 stars I would. I am a very happy ibotta app user and was invited to use the ibotta browser extension. I recently tried using the ibotta browser extension rather than the app and it was a disaster. For some reason they as saying that my order wasnt launched using the extension and that it only works with chrome yada yada yada. I only used chrome and when I was placing the order the ibotta banner was showing reflecting the percentage that was offered at the particular retailer. I received a special promo offer for an additional bonus when an order of $35 or more is placed through the ibotta browser. I ordered over $35 and now they are telling me that it wasnt placed through the browser even though the banner was showing through out the whole order. Frankly I dont think it's ready to be launched yet because there are still too many glitches and bugs. Very disappointed.

I used the ibotta extension a few times perfectly and then it stopped working. It said the file was corrupt and prompted me to fix it. I did, still didn't work. I removed it and added it back, still won't work. I removed other extensions that I thought might be a problem but it didn't fix it. When I go to websites that are supposed to be part of the ibotta cash back program it says it does not work on that site.

My biggest issue here is that it worked ONE time, and I was super excited because I'm an avid ibotta user. And since then, it hasn't worked at all! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. I'm not sure what's going on with it.

There is a list of config info and transactions in the options that has raw, unencrypted text data including the full experation date of my credit card on file. Unacceptable.

These paid for 5 star reviews would have been a little more believable if they didn't talk about how the participating sites was so great when it clearly isn't. Then, the extension thinks I have another cash back extension on my browner, which I don't. So, they are dishonest AND incompetent when it comes to a browser extension. That, and when you use this, you can't use existing gift cards. 100% fail on Ibotta's part.

So far I am unable to do anything other than edit my profile on my computer. Am I missing something? It says I have the extension. I received a message that I was receiving $5 for putting extension on my laptop. Now the money is gone and the extension is not working. I am confused. It would be much easier to organize my shopping if I could see offers on the larger screen. Had been looking forward to doing just that this weekend. Can not see a thing on computer.

Amazing!!Finallyyyyy I can use Ibotta on my laptop! Cant wait for it to work with all retailers! I've used it like 6 times now, not a single problem and very easy to use. Definitely best cash back app out there!
