This extension allows to find and delete duplicate bookmarks, empty folders, merge folders with the same name (within the same path), find no longer working and expired bookmarks and remove them easily.

Permissions explained:

1. Read and change your bookmarks(required on install) - required for core functions to work

2. Read and change all your data on the websites you visit(optional, not asked until you use Broken URLs checker) – to check if bookmarked page loads and doesn't return any error.

Broken Url removal is risky and the duplicate url removal is is slow.

It simply delivers 100%. Use it if you want to de-duplicate and sort your favourites / bookmarks. You will retain control over what you choose to delete / remove. This is the only quick and easy solution to the issue of multiple duplicate favourites in Chrome.

BADLY needs a way to select multiple items to take action on. if you have 700 bookmarks that are 404, you must select and delete each individually?

Chrome Bookmark Sync has been causing me to have duplicate bookmarks all over the place. This extension at least makes it easy to batch clean things up without any trouble. I wish Chrome would fix itself (not that hard to de-duplicate bookmarks in the same folder when syncing..) but I'm glad this extension makes it easy to deal with!

OMG, what a wonderful extension. I knew I had duplicate bookmarks and maybe a few that had broken links, but I had no idea how many. This found over 100 duplicates, and 150 broken links and cleared them with ease. This is the perfect manager for those out of control bookmarks. Make sure you export your bookmarks as a backup before you start. Then let it do it's work. Fast, easy, and the price is right. Thanks so much for this great extension.
