This extension allows to find and delete duplicate bookmarks, empty folders, merge folders with the same name (within the same path), find no longer working and expired bookmarks and remove them easily.
Permissions explained:
1. Read and change your bookmarks(required on install) - required for core functions to work
2. Read and change all your data on the websites you visit(optional, not asked until you use Broken URLs checker) – to check if bookmarked page loads and doesn't return any error.

Works perfectly!
This is the absolute WORST bookmark delete solution I've seen in my 15+ years of using this type of software! Every time I try & clean up the many (reduplicates, these breeds like mice), the software gets worse. Either it won't obey my command to delete all alike in the same folder, or worse, cause Google Chrome to freeze with a i7-4790K clocked to 4.4GHz & have 32GB of DDR3 2400MHz RAM installed. Plus on a very speedy 512GB Samsung 970 PRO NVMe SSD. It's NOT like the software didn't have the machine resources to work with, less than a third was used at time of crashing. More like a developer issue here, as the deletes ALWAYS returns like never before. If one has over 15 years of bookmarks to manage, keep looking, this may handle a few hundred OK, but not upwards of 7,000 & this was after cleaning many that would no longer connect. It's far from a few clicks and bookmarks are neat and tidy, especially when one is syncing across a minimum of a dozen computers. I'll find something else more up to the task, even if it involves a small fee. Two years is plenty of time to make this work & probably about a year and a half too long on my part of keeping it.

Very useful extension!
My bookmarks folder was a disaster area. I knew I'd have to get organized sooner or later but I kept putting it off because it was just too big a mess. By chance I saw your app in the web store and it occurred to me that probably half the links in my bookmarks were no longer valid, and there was probably some duplicates too. Your app found over 1300 dead links! That saved me so much time! Now my bookmarks are well organized, thanks to your wonderful little program!
It shows the duplicate bookmarks counter, but it can't select every duplicates automatically. It detects, merges and deletes the empty folder, but fails to grab the duplicate bookmarks. SAD!
EXCELENTE! Simples de usar, funções completas, busca favoritos duplicados em todas as pastas que criamos, verifica quais links não existem mais, apaga pastas vazias e ajuda a organizar muito os favoritos do navegador. É gratuito e não exibe nenhuma publicidade. Parabéns ao desenvolvedor, e super recomendo.
