Much better than doing it all by hand and removing favourites one-by-one. However, one thing that would make a TON of sense: when the app detects 4 copies of a bookmark all in one folder, an option to "delete all copies of this bookmark within this folder" would make a ton of sense. I would bet that most people using the app are trying to get rid of the random duplicates that Chrome has made, and get back to just 1 copy of their favourites. Sometimes it's beneficial to have the same favourite in a couple folders (such as when opening several tabs for a particular task you're doing), so you want to retain those duplicates in other folders. But I think most people aren't keeping several copies of one favourite within one folder. There is a button to "select all duplicates within this folder" while you're cleaning up, which speeds things up, however you then need to DE-select one of the favourites to prevent them all from being deleted! Seems silly. I don't want to get rid of ALL the copies of that bookmark! I'd gladly give this 5 stars if if didn't tend to push you to deleting all the copies of a bookmark and made it easier to just "delete the dumb extras Chrome has made". By the way, the program wisely shows you how to back up your favourites prior to you beginning your cleaning, and it warns you if you're going to delete all the copies of a favourite, and keeps you well-informed about what you're doing. Strongly recommend for cleaning out the extra copies of favourites that Chrome is making.

This extention is great. Every now and then the bookmarks doubles. I had about 800 bookmarks only in one section. Now only 16 in that section . Great job.

Perfect extension! When Chrome duplicates your tree of bookmarks with all their contents, all you want to do is re-combine the trees and remove the bookmarks that are identical within each folder. Simple, and fast, it works great.
