Pretty good extension, I really really really would like a keyboard shortcut to send a text message other than TAB -> Space. It would be massively amazing.
Nice app. Doesn't have a refresh button, so the number of unread messages doesn't update if you delete the entry in the list (eventually it will update, but not right away). Also, calling a number from the app rings my cell phone, then connects to the outbound number, instead of just connecting to the number and allowing me to use my headphones and mic to communicate.
Indispensable.
Needs to be updated with the new app icon
This is a great App and has worked well for me on "Chrome" for over 6 months now. Thanks GOOGLE, good work!!
This is a great extension and I've been using it for about a year now. Pros: fast, sends and receives texts in your browser, autocompletes your contacts. Bad: no keyboard shortcuts. When the recipients name is displayed, one can't hit tab and have it auto-complete the phone number, one has to use the mouse. Same thing goes with the sending function, one has to mouse click the send button to send. This may not sound like a big deal, but a 3 x 27" screen setup makes it easy to lose the mouse. Overall great program and one of the major contributing factors to my continued use of Google Voice.
there is a bug in the "clickable numbers" implementation. on craigslist sites (and possibly others) any text preceding the phone number is swallowed up.
text is awesome. Needs dialer.
A few bugs and inconsistencies compared to the Android app, but overall quite good.
On Craigslist, if the main message has a phone number in it. Everything in the message gets removed and only the number remains.
