Overview

Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

Make sure to use Chrome version 84+ with this extension, otherwise the automatic selection of the locationbar text doesn't work.

Since Google updated Chrome to version 29, the App overview is no longer shown, when opening a new tab. This extension restores that behaviour to the way it was.

Tip: the keyboard shortcut CTRL+L (Windows/Linux) or CMD+L (macOS) highlights the URL.

v.3.0.0

* Upgraded to manifest V3. The rest of the extension code is exactly the same as version 2.1.0. Please bear in mind that the display of the apps is handled by internal Chrome code. This means that this extension has no influence over how that looks.

* Fixed a bug so that the address bar is highlighted again

The URL in the omnibar is automatically overwritten when you start typing now, since it's already automatically selected. Fait son travail. Affiche le texte "chrome://apps/" dans la barre d'adresse, mais il suffit d'entrer la nouvelle adresse ou rechercher dans la barre, vu que le texte est automatiquement sélectionné.

With the ability to have the omnibar automatically cleared, this would be the best extension in all of Chrome.

does it's job, but even with the new tab going where it's supposed to and the URL being auto selected, it's still not the desired effect. Have it automatically clear out the omnibar to and this would be perfect

Only has apps. Doesn't have recent and most visited sections. False advertising:: Your picture included most visited and recent sections.

As others have mentioned, as of Chrome 35 the omniibox is now automatically selected. This app does what Google refuses to do, thank god. This is exactly what I've been looking for.
