Hands down, The BEST way to learn a language

I've been using this app for a few days now, and I'm really impressed with how helpful it is for remembering new vocabulary. The way it provides context for each word makes it much easier to understand and retain the meaning. The exercises are also well-designed and help reinforce what I've learned. One suggestion I have is to make the flashcards reversible, so you can practice translating from your native language to the new language as well. I think this would be a valuable addition to the learning process. The integration with Netflix is a fantastic feature, and it's been great to be able to watch shows and movies while learning new words at the same time. However, there seems to be a glitch for those of us who have a Netflix subscription with commercials. The app doesn't seem to work properly during ad breaks, which is a bit frustrating. Overall, I highly recommend this app to anyone looking to expand their vocabulary and improve their language skills. Despite a few minor issues, it's a well-rounded and effective learning tool.

I tried watching Netflix in French with English subtitles, but it in no way compared to watching through Lingopie with the tools and support needed to really learn. Fantastic interface and way to learn!

Excellent integration -- the interface feels a lot like Lingopie itself. No complaints here. :)

really increadible. Idk why it is only 3.7 stars - i have never found something like this. Previously I was making flash cards and having to look up the words while watching... and now this does it for me!! its so great. Eventually it would be amazing to have every single show on netflix with this capability but I am really happy about it.

I'm really enjoying Lingopie! If you're starting off as an A1 learner, this tool is great since you can slow things down, pause after each line, and get a grammar lesson while you're at it. I'd say it's optimal for people in the B1 range who are trying to up their listening and gain vocabulary. It's similar to Language Reactor but the interface feels a bit more intuitive in my opinion. For languages like Japanese and Korean it would be nice to be able to use Lingopie on Crunchy Roll or Viki, but I think the options provided on Netflix are still great. It would also be nice to be able to use this on YouTube. I'm not sure if I just missed a setting to turn on furigana, but if you're a beginner Japanese learner, the subtitles can contain a lot of Kanji. It can be nice to kickstart your Kanji learning but it's a bit of pain. 4/5 stars - great overall, but some more selection would make it a 5/5

I love the platform! But I wish Despacito would make a come back on the music side. :)
