After months of frustration with google's group functionality, gave Hiver's collaborative inboxes a try. Not only does it work very well and has now gotten our small three-person team humming around a common shared email inbox, but the support staff at Hiver is fantastic, super responsive, and even implemented several feature tweaks I requested. Highly recommend if you're looking for an elegant google email based collaborative inbox solution.
We have been using this service for over 2 years, and we couldn't work without it. Sharing emails across labels is super useful. This extension is really just an added bonus, but not essential to enjoy this super useful tool.
